I had the honour of attending Steve Poltz‘s gig at Fly by Night in Freo last night. Although there were only about 100 people there, Poltz was in great form with plenty of funny stories and anecdotes fleshing out his great set of songs. He was on stage for over two and a half hours of energy. Personal highlights for me were his “Johnny Cash” song, “Cold German” and his intimate encore as we all huddled around as he sung from the Fly By Night bar (pictured). Top night!
